Lauren Carmody, daughter of parishioners Tom and Denise Fackender, drew us into her ministry experience in Haiti. Fr. Jean Yangia, SVD spent a year at Good Shepherd during his training as a seminarian and is now an ordained priest in the Congo, home country of parishioner Mukweso Mwenene. We have helped him build worship space and meet other needs of his ministries. See more here.
Fr. Remmy has been part of our parish every summer since 2004 when he comes from Zambia to share his wisdom and marvelous stories, typically while Fr. Foley visits family in Ireland. We assist Fr. Remmy in building up the physical and spiritual needs of his people in various ways. “ Every time he has a parish up and running, the Bishop transfers him to another location in need of leadership, so we have spiritual sisters and brothers all over Zambia!
