• Weekly Envelopes – Mail a check to Good Shepherd (4665 Thomasville Road, Tallahassee, FL 32309-2512). It is helpful to include your envelope or envelope number, we can also use your name and address as printed on your check. The office is open so cash or checks may also be dropped off in the office during normal business hours, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday.

                                                                                                         

• Automatic Offering Plan – We very much encourage Automatic Stewardship of Treasure (ACH). This is available for all registered parishioners and the preferred method of giving. Contact Elena VanLandingham by phone (850-893-1837) from 8 AM -2 PM, Monday through Friday or email Elena to set up Automatic Withdrawal. Her email address is: [email protected]     

  

• Online Giving - You can donate by credit/debit card and schedule one time or monthly payments. Click "Online Giving" to set up payment. Please call the office during the week if you have questions.

                                

• Qualified Charitable Distributions – for those 72 or older       

                                                        

• Poor Box – To help those in need, donations can be dropped off at the church office during normal business hours, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday.

                                                                                        

• Good Shepherd Programs – Mail or drop off a check to Good Shepherd. Please include the ministry you wish to support on the memo line of your check.                                           

 

In these times of uncertainty, it may seem difficult to make any type of financial promise.  But today, as always, God invites you to open wide the door and take the first step in faith.

Trust in His goodness. He will provide.

We are challenged to realize that everything around us is a gift from God. We are stewards, not owners, of all He has so generously given us. He expects us, in faith, to share a portion of what we have with His Church and with those in need.

The most important reason to give is out of gratitude for the many blessings we have been given by our generous, loving God.  Sharing your monetary gifts through the stewardship of treasure enables Good Shepherd Parish to operate and provide support within our community, nationally and internationally.

How Much Should I Give?

It is not so much the amount of your gift, but your intention to give that is most important.  The tithe spoken of in the Bible is 10%.  We ask parishioners to give 5% of their gross income to the parish, and an additional 5% to other charities (including Catholic Sharing Appeal, Catholic School tuition etc.).  Spend some time prayerfully considering what your financial intentions will be for this year.
