Confused about immigration, asylum and ways we can meet our responsibility to welcome the foreigners among us? Like to know the Church’s position? Christ was a foreigner and a transient throughout much of his life. Do we welcome the stranger as Christ instructs us in Matthew 25?
Enjoy our Fifth Annual Symposium on Human Rights and Religion. Issues concerning immigration and migration will be presented. Ways in which we can “welcome the stranger” will be discussed. A Christian/Catholic response will be presented.
