Training to become a weekend Lector at Good Shepherd will take place on Monday, May 19, 7-9 pm, on Tuesday, May 27, 7-9- pm or Sunday, June 1, 1:30-3:30 pm. On May 24–25, the Haiti Outreach Ministry will appeal for donations to support Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Lafond, Haiti. Father Rousseau has identified three priority needs, all focused on sustainable livestock programs. Funds will help purchase 30 goats, up to 10 cows, and bulk chicken feed with vitamins to support the parish poultry project. He will unveil Mary’s critical role in our redemption – Mary as Co-Redemptorist. Answer the question why Jesus called his mother “Woman” on two occasions and what it signified. We will take a deeper look at both the Annunciation, Visitation, and the Joyful mysteries of the Rosary. Did you know the earliest Christians venerated Mary? We will show you when and how. The Blessed Mother is deeply embedded in the Scriptures, the Tradition and history of the Church. There is much more on the Mary that we will discuss. All are welcome!Read More -
