The Sign of the Cross (1st Grade)

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Glory be to the Father (1st Grade)

Glory be to the Father, and the Son, and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

The Lord's Prayer (1st Grade)

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name, Thy kingdom come; thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us form evil. Amen.

The Hail Mary (1st Grade)

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee; blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus (bow your head). Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Blessing Before Meals (1st Grade)

Bless us, O Lord, and these, your gifts, which we are about to receive from your bounty, through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Prayer to My Guardian Angel (1st Grade - optional)

Angel of God, my guardian dear,
Sent by God to protect me here.
All through this day, be at my side
To keep me safe, to gard and guide. Amen.

Simple Acts of Faith, Hope & Love (1st Grade - optional)

Jesus, I believe in you.

Morning Prayer (2nd Grade)

I give you, my God, this day, all I do, think or say. Amen.

The Apostles' Creed (4th Grade)

I believe in God, the Father Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth.
I believe in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord. He was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried. He descended to the dead. On the third day He rose again. He ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.

Mass Memorial Acclamations (4th Grade)

Christ has died.
Christ is risen.
Christ will come again.

Dying, you destroyed our death,
Rising, you restored our life.
Lord Jesus, come in glory.

When we eat this bread and drink this cus,
We proclaim your death, Lord Jesus,
until you come in glory.

Lord, by your cross and resurrection,

Prayer to St. Francis (4th Grade)

Lord, make me an instrument of Your Peace
Where is is hatred, let me sow love;
Where there is injury, pardon;
Where this is doubt, faith;

Where there is darkness, light;
Where there is sadness, joy.

O Divine Master, grant that I may not so much
seek to be consoled as to console;
to be understood as to understand;

For it is in giving that we receive;

The Nicene Creed (5th Grade)

We believe in one God,
the Father, the Almighty,
maker of heaven and earth,
of all that is seen and unseen.

We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ,
the only Son of God,
eternally begotten of the Father,
God from God, Light from Light,
true God from true God,
begotten, not made, one in Being with the Father.
Through him all things were made.
For us men and for our salvation

Act of Faith, Hope and Love (6th Grade)

My God, I believe in You. I trust in you. I love you above all things, with all my mind and heart and strength. I love you because you are supremely good and worth loving; and because I love you, I am sorry with all my heart of having offended you. Lord, have mercy on me a sinner. Amen.

Prayer to the Holy Sprit (7th Grade)

Come, Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of the faithful and kindle in them the fire of your love.

V. Send forth your Spirit and they shall be created.

R. And you will renew the face of the earth.

Let us pray:

You have taught the hearts of your faithful. In the same Spriit, help us to relish what is right and always rejoice in your consolation. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen
