Final Level (Rite of Enrollment to Confirmation)

Confirmation 2012

Confirmation practice is February 26, 2012 at 1:30 PM (in Church)

Confirmation is MARCH 3, 2012 at 10 am & 2 pm (subject to change if a new bishop is appointed).
Note: Candidates/Sponsors sign-in 30 minutes early in lower level, Parish Center.

Refer to Calendar to Confirmation 2012 for dates and additional information.

Candidates must complete the following requirements after the Rite of Enrollment and prior to Confirmation (dates TBA)

• Attend Sponsor/Candidate Meetings (minimum of 4)
• Perform 15 service hours
• Meet with sponsor for the equivalent of 4 hours
• Sponsors should complete the Confirmation Candidate/Sponsor Record

Confirmation Retreat

While a retreat is not required, all candidates are strongly encouraged to attend a retreat during preparation for Confirmation. Some retreats include:

• Steubenville
• Lifeteen

Note: Register for the Steubenville and LifeTeen retreats through the Youth Office.

Service Hours

Candidates will perform 15 service hours between the Rite of Enrollment and the following January. See list below for suggestions for Service Projects. More details and ideas for service hours will be distributed at the Candidates/Sponsor Parent Session.
