The mission of Fellowship & Evangelization ministries is to support activities which promote spiritual renewal and strengthen faith sharing, prayer and fellowship within the parish (individuals as well as families).
Active Catholic Tallahassee Singles (ACTS)
A Catholic group for mature single adults who get together to share their love for God. The goal is to unite Catholic Single Adults throughout Tallahassee and remind them about the one thing they have in common - their faith. Christ Renews His Parish (CRHP)
Christ Renews His Parish is a process designed to bring members of the parish together in Christ. The process begins with a renewal weekend which is a two day, one overnight live-in experience at Good Shepherd. CRHP is for anyone seeking spiritual growth and renewal, desiring to build up their relationship with Christ, or gain a deeper sense of purpose within the parish community.

Coffee after Mass
Coffee, cookies and juice are served after Sunday morning Mass several times a month. The coffee is set up and served by volunteers who greet people with a smile and stay for about 45 minutes to serve and clean up. Donations are used not only to replenish supplies, but to provide cakes for special parish occasions, such as First Communion and Confirmation. This is a wonderful ministry of hospitality and friendship.

Engaged Encounter
Engaged Encounter is an international program of the Catholic Church dedicated to preparing couples for the Sacrament of Marriage. It is a weekend away from family, friends, work and wedding preparations. Engaged couples are given the opportunity to focus on each other exclusively in an environment that encourages deep communication and openness. Foyers
Foyers is a social gathering for adult couples and singles. Groups of three or more couples are formed twice a year and meet four times over a six month cycle to share a meal, conversation and friendship. Each member of the group takes a turn hosting a meal while being a guest three times. The meal can be a simple cookout, a brunch, or a sit down dinner. The decision is up to you!

Foyers for Families
Basics are the same as Foyers, but the venues to entertain are endless: a picnic in the park, cook out or trip to the beach, all with a kid-friendly atmosphere. Foyers for Families will group you with Good Shepherd families so that the numbers will be manageable.

Friendship Circle
Women of the parish gather in friendship to share interests in crafts and needlework. Their major project is the Holiday Craft Show. Meetings are held each Thursday morning to work on the quilt for he craft show raffle and to prepare other handmade articles.

Garage Sale
Garage sales are held twice a year. Parishioners are encouraged to donate items and to volunteer during the week before the sale and on sale days. Sorters and cashiers are needed. Proceeds are used for a variety of parish projects.

Gift Shop
The Gift Shop sells religious articles after the 10:15 am Mass on Sunday and after he 9:00 am Mass on Friday. It is located in the Parish Center next to the Parish Office. If a staff person is available, articles may also be purchased during the week by coming to the parish office and requesting access to the Gift. Shop.

Hispanic Ministry
Serves the needs of the Hispanic community, providing the following activities: Mass in Spanish every Saturday at 7:00 pm followed by a potluck dinner on the 3rd Saturday, Small Christian Community on Thursdays at 7:30 pm, Divine Mercy Devotion on Tuesdays at 7:30 pm, and Prison Ministry on Mondays at 7:00 pm. Also work with youth group and other Hispanic communities at the diocesan leve.

Joyful Again
A weekend experience for widows and widowers who want to resolve the grief they feel inside and begin to live again after the death of a spouse. The weekend is offered in both Pensacola and Tallahassee, led by trained facilitators, who have been widowed themselves.

Knights of Columbus
The Knights of Columbus were founded on these principles: charity, Unity, Fraternity, and Patriotism. As the largest Catholic service organization in the world, the Knights are committed to acting on Faith and helping the world. They serve the church, the community and the family. Magnificat
A ministry to Catholic women. Its purpose is to help Catholic women open more and more to the Holy Spirit through a deeper commitment of their lives to Jesus as Lord. Sponsors four Magnificat Meals each year where women gather for food, prayer, fellowship and sharing.

Marriage Encounter
Marriage Encounter provides a weekend experience and on-going support community for married couples. The weekend offers time away for couples to rediscover their love for each other and focus on their relationship. The weekend teaches a communication technique that helps couples to explore important areas of their relationship in a spirit of love and understanding. Men's Ministry
The Men's Ministry meets each Wednesday from 7:00 to 8:00 am. The group chooses a topic for study and sharing. The focus is on dealing with issues that face Catholic men in the world today.

MOGS (Men of Good Shepherd)
The MOGS provide enjoyable social events for the parish and have a good time along the way. The MOGS meet the first Wednesday of each month to prepare for one of the eight social events they sponsor. Mothers Morning Out
A cooperative program for parents who take turns caring for children in the Good Shepherd nursery on weekday mornings. The program is held Tuesday through Friday, 9:00 am - 12:00 noon. Children must be at least 12 months old and walking.

New Day Journal
The New Day Journal program serves those who are experiencing grief. It is a 10 week program that meets to help participants journey from grief to healing after the loss of a loved one.

Welcoming Team
The Welcoming Team plans and coordinates efforts to provide a welcoming atmosphere in the parish for all parishioners. Activities include providing a Welcome Dinner for all newcomers every two months. The Welcome Team looks at all areas of parish life, and encourages the development of creative ways to help others feel welcome, from making the facilities more accessible to simple awareness building.
