Next Subject: Terms of officers
Result:
It was brought up by Diana Grosh that the terms of officers should begin/end in May to avoid confusion during our busiest time of year, fall and the Fall Festival. The members in attendance voted and it was passed. Further discussion continued about our Mission Statement and bi laws. Several members agreed that we need a Mission Statement, bi laws and a directory. Allison Wiman recited a Mission Statement. After discussion it was agreed by the group to update the Mission Statement. Donna Biggins stated that she will be asking members for input as to what they would like in the Mission Statement via email. Then the input will be compiled and voted upon. Donna will also be working on bi laws to be voted on in the near future. A directory will be in the works as well.
Next Subject: Fall Festival, Saturday, October 17th from 10 am to 2 pm. Save the date and know that we need help before 10 am for set up and after 2 pm for clean up.

2. Recruiting volunteers:
All of these committees require volunteers. Please contact any member of the committee and let them know what you can help with. Please remember that high school students require volunteer hours to graduate, get a scholarship, and be confirmed. RECRUIT where you can. Sharon Pilat offered to make choir announcements for volunteers and to sign volunteers up after Masses. If you can help Sharon read a pulpit announcement at ANY of THIS WEEKEND Masses, please contact her. She will give you instructions. Her email is pilatms@hotmail.com and her phone number is 877-1834. Thank you for your help Sharon and anyone that can help her.
3. Aprons:
Sharon Pilat brought some information about the WINGS having aprons for a uniform appearance at functions. The members voted and agreed. The vote was for purple. The design is pending. The total cost of the apron, including a design will be $10. (We just received the quote for the design embroidering) Thanks, Sharon for getting us this information.
4. Update meeting:
It was agreed that we need a Fall Festival update meeting. This will be held Tuesday, September 22nd at 7:30 pm in room 310 of the Parish Hall. If you forget the room number there is a list to the left of the elevators with all scheduled meetings.
Next Subject: October meeting
The October meeting will be Tuesday, October 6th at 7:30 pm in the Community Center (old brown building). Hope to see you there!
We have a lot of work to do before our next meeting. Keep the emails going and recruit those volunteers. As newly elected Secretary, I will be sending out the emails and minute notes.
