Fr. William Meninger, internationally known Trappist monk, priest, author, and retreat leader  returns to Tallahassee during Lent 2012.   In addition to workshops, lectures, and preaching around Tallahassee beginning  Ash Wednesday- Sunday, March 4th (see details for the other events in Tallahassee below),  Fr. Meninger will lead a weekend retreat at Camp Weed that includes prayer, teaching, and fellowship. The retreat will focus on deepening our understanding of contemplative prayer through the teachings of some of the great Christian mystics.  

The retreat will begin at 4 pm on Friday and end by 2:00 pm on Sunday. Friday and Sunday will include sharing and discussions. Saturday will be a day of silence. Centering prayer periods will be included in each day.

Cost is $200/person which includes 2 nights semi-private lodging and 6 meals. There are no private rooms.
